Simon Says Stamp Special Holiday Release Blog Hop!

Thanks for stopping by today! If you've come from Tim Holtzs' blog for the Simon Says Stamp Special Holiday Release BLOG HOP... then Welcome!!!
We are celebrating three releases in one week!!

First, we have the December Card kit (Santa's helpers just informed me that it has already sold out)!! But, many of the kit components (including lights) are available for individual sale in the
Simon Says Stamp store.

Secondly, there is the Advent Plus release... super cute stamps and dies to create your
very own holiday Advent Calendar plus new envelopes and tags!!!

And finally, The Limited Edition Simon Says Stamp Holiday Card kit for 2016. It's a doozy... absolutely packed full of so many goodies!!!

For my card, I used some of the items from the Limited Edition Holiday card kit. I wanted to make a white on white look by using the basic neutrals. I started off with white cardstock and the Stitched Oval and Stitched Rectangle dies from Simon Says Stamp.

I tore white cardstock to create snow banks and added the tree from the Sugar Plum foam stickers along with the Retro Deer die cut from one of the Simon Says Stamp kraft tags. To finish off with a pop of color I added the green and red Stickles as ornaments and red nose
for the deer.

Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $50 gift voucher to one person from each blog in this hop. Remember to leave a comment telling us about your holiday crafting along the way f
or a better chance to win.
I'll be choosing a winner by comments left on my blog before midnight (CST), Sunday.
All winners will be announced on the Simon Says Stamp blog on Monday. Good Luck!!

The hop starts at the Simon Says Stamp blog, below is a list just in case you
encounter any broken links.

Your next stop is to the incredibly talented and my good friend Kristina Werner!

Happy Hopping!!

Your card is gorgeous! I LOVE the neutral colors! Kraft and white is one of my all-time fave combos. The woodland scene you created is so serene. Love the small touches of sparkle you added with dots and stickles. :) I've been working on lots of holiday cards and tags, and this weekend, I've been crafting up some ornaments, too.

Great cards! I bought the limited edition kit in the nick of time last night! This morning it was sold out! Thanks for the inspiration.

I typically run out of time and don't get cards made, but I do make tags and I also love to use my stamps on kraft wrapping paper and kraft gift bags.

I like your sweet and elegant card! So fun that you gave the reindeer a little, red nose!

I make Christmas cards every year and this year I hope to make tags for all the gifts. I had wanted to do some Plush dies, but we are in the middle of packing our house to move early next year and my wonderful husband packed all my floss so that may not get done this year, LOL! It will be our last Christmas in the house where we raised our kids so it will be a little sad. I'm three and a half weeks post op from a spinal fusion as well, so I'll have to be careful what I do. Love this kit and I was too late buying it, wish I had known about it sooner, ugh. Absolutely love the card you made, just beautiful.

Super inspiring, thank you for sharing your creativity. Splendid idea tearing the white card stock to make snowy hills. My children and I spend time together creating holiday cards, gift tags, and gift boxes for the homemade goodies we make in the kitchen to give to family and friends. We enjoy our creative bonding time as we crafts homemade gifts for people near and far. Happy Holidays!

Gorgeous card! I am crafting mostly for charities this holiday season. My family knows this is important to me and they don't expect extravagant cards like in seasons past. I am crafting cards, tags and gifts for veterans, seniors in nursing homes, children at homeless shelters and young people at grief counseling centers after losing loved ones. Makes my heart feel full to be using my crafting to help brighten the days of folks less fortunate or who may be struggling a bit through the holiday season. Big hugs and happy holidays! xo, Kristina
