Back from CHA!

Wowzers!

What a whirlwind this past month has been!!!  CHA was on the menu... I had a few things going on in preparation for the show.  I had a lot of class prep and card samples to make.... then more samples for a few other booths.

First I want to share something... I got to be part of the Ranger Designer Challenge. There were AMAZING dress forms from other designers...Jaw Droppers I tell ya!!! We got to use the new Ice Stickles and Liquid Pearls.... But if you know me... I'm not a fan of glitter... so I stuck with the metalic Liquid Pearls.

I went with a Steam Punk theme, used the new Liquid Pearls to make my paper look like metal.  I built the "Cage" from Grunge Paper.  She has this good/evil thing going on... here's a peek.

I was truly in my element with this project... I was able to just sit and create without pressure.  I have a list of supplies that I'll put at the bottom, but please note: the gears and gadgets die cut is for the bigger gears on her cage skirt.  I found the smaller gears (on her bosom) in the Silhouette store and they are cut from black cardstock. The wings are made by white embossing on regular tissue paper, then I wrapped the paper around formed covered wire securing it with matte medium.

I hope you all enjoy this!!!  I LOVE making something from almost nothing!!!
