A Little Digital Share

Hi everyone!  I can't believe it's December already!  WOWZER!!!  How did that happen?

I did get out on Black Friday morning to shop, it was CRAZY.....it's SOOO not my thing and I couldn't wait to get out of there!  Main gifts are taken care of, I can pick up small stuff for the boys though out the month.

So since it's December 1st, I had a new technique article go up.  This month I used the Kris Kringle digital kit.  Such a cute image!  Since I do the technical stuff for the digital images and kits, it was fun to play with them for a change.

Here's a peek...

I sized the image to what I wanted, copied and pasted so I had 4 images on a sheet and printed it out onto cardstock.  Then I cut out portions and re-stacked them on an acetate tag (stamped of course).  Here's a close-up view of the layers.

I've nearly completed my office transformation.  I will be packing up 5 boxes only for my purge giveaway.  I've got so much stuff...I can't afford the shipping costs to send out everything...you know?  So what I'll do is pack 5 for you all, and will donate the rest to a woman's shelter close by.

I'll take pictures of the boxes (and new office quarters) and will announce the give-away in a few days... stay tuned!

Mom Update: Thank you all for your comments of concern, support and prayers, you all are truley a blessing to me. I'm such a lucky gal to have friends such as you.

My mom "Joy" had her port put in yesterday and first chemo treatment today.  She will be getting chemo once a week for 10-12 weeks along with radiation therapy. Her oncologist is being quiet aggressive, which I feel is good.  The cancer type is Squamous, it is contained in only one lung but has  "feelers" that have moved into the chest lymph system.

Overall, my mom is in great health at 74, and they feel she can handle this aggressive treatment.  We have added one thing to my list of "Must Do" while I'm there...we are shopping for head coverings.   I'll keep you posted.

Thanks everyone, enjoy!
Shari
