Hero Arts Blog Hop with Shari

Hello Hoppers!  What a fun day this is.  I've had the opportunity to work with the new 2010 stamps for a few months now, and have been BUSTING with excitement to share.  It's so hard to hold these rubbery secrets.  But alas.....now I can show you!!!

First up is one of my favorites....the Engraved Flower.  This Cling beauty fits wonderfully on a card, bet it would be fantastic on a scrapbook layout as well.

Isn't it delicious?  I stamped onto some Bo Bunny paper (twice) and cut out the images, then stacked them back using foam squares.  Here's a closer peek at the layers.

I curled the edges of the petals to reveal the layers beneath.

2010 Hero Arts Cling Stamp CG141

Next up is the Stunning Silhouette Grass, imagine the possibilities with this image.  I chose to do a simple White StazOn on acetate, it's so pretty!

Here's a close-up of the image... I just love how I can see the message peeking through the grass.

2010 Hero Arts Woodblock S5316

And finally I decided to play with the row of houses.  I've had these Maya Road chipboard house for so long and hadn't used them yet.  This stamp was a PERFECT match.  Now I can make TONS with houses!!! :o)

Oh and I just had to use some of my Basic Grey brads and buttons.  Bet you're surprised to see PINK.  I love this combination. Hero Arts Heart Pearls worked extremely well with this card along with Tim Holtz Crackle paint (Old Paper).  YUM!

2010 Hero Arts Woodblock H5328

Hope you've enjoyed this stop on your hop...Next is Barbara Hache, she's up in Canada braving the cold weather and you're going to just LOVE her projects.  If you get lost along the way, you can always head back to the Hero Arts Blog to start.

Enjoy all!
Shari
