Birthday Flowers and good friends

How did I ever get so lucky to have a friend like Jennifer McGuire? She is the sweetest thing in the world!!! I received this wonderful bouquet of flowers from her on my birthday. It's been forever since I've had a delivery of such beauty. Thanks Jemmifer!!!
Smooches

I took a few close-ups and had a little Photoshop fun....a quick watercolor filter makes such an awesome artistic difference.

here's the before.....

And here's the after.....

To do the filter in Photoshop, first resize your photo to about 800px wide with a 72 resolution (perfect for web). Go to the filters tab, click Artistic, then at the bottom is watercolor, click it a screen appears (different in PS7 from PS CS3), adjust the brush detail, shadow intensity and texture to your liking.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday and thanks for the special birthday comments on the Hero Arts and Jennifers blog, your kindness warmed my insides!

I'll be back later to share some stamping.
