Another fine use for stamping tools

Ha, had to laugh this evening. Our weather has really taken a turn, we are getting freezing rain/snow right now and are expecting a foot by noon tomorrow. Well there are a few things that need taking care of before winter...which has been put off....like covering the grill, bringing in the patio furniture, and covering the water outlets with these handy little styrafoam doodads. Tom's job was the water thingy's. My bad...I'd left the hose on (and let the nozzle be the means to turn the water on/off). In just a day or so the hose, pipe and valve froze. No turning that baby off. Tom was about to get out the blow torch to thaw it out so he could do what he needed to do. DING DING DING (that's me thinking)....I told him to use my heat gun! It took about a minute to free up the valve so he could complete his task. It saved my butt, I'd have been blamed when the pipes burst. So chalk another one up for crafters being handy!

LOL!! That is how I justified buying my first heat gun years ago...I told DH it would work great for thawing frozen pipes! Not long after, there he was on his knees, with my heat gun on the hose! LOL...Your pictures are great! Kerilou
