New Tim Holtz Stencil and Stamp set for STAMPtember®

It's here... the new Tim Holtz exclusive Holiday Stamp and Stencil set!

I've created a couple cards one using the set as you can see below...I've done some white embossing on watercolor paper with the tree image and added several... may be all of the red toned distress inks!

I added each color by pressing the mini ink pads onto my craft sheet, spritzing the ink with water, then pressing my watercolor paper into the mixture.

My next card started out as an experiment... and it worked out. It's my first try using Yupo and alcohol inks. Ohhhh am I kicking myself now for not filming this one for video, but I will tell you I learned the technique from Tim in the Creative Chemistry 3 class through Online Card classes.

Basically, I added my alcohol ink to the Yupo, then removed color through the stencil.

I've listed my supplies below.

Thanks for coming by and I hope you're enjoying STAMPtember® as much as I am. Be sure to check out the Simon Says Stamp blog each day for new exclusive product for the entire month. Enjoy!

These are gorgeous. I've never tried Yupo paper and thought painting on it would be extremely difficult. Please make a video showing us how to use it.

Absolutley gorgeous - this is a lovely set from Mr Tim! The effects on your backgrounds are stunning. I have heard of Yupo paper but not really sure what it is - interesting :-)

Amazing! I googled Yupo paper and found that it's a man-made paper. http://www.dickblick.com/products/yupo-watercolor-paper/
