30 Day Coloring Challenge Blog Hop!

Welcome to "The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge" Blog Hop. The premise of the challenge is to color something everyday even if it’s for five minutes. It doesn’t matter what you color or what medium you use. You can jump in or out of the challenge at any time.

If you are coming from Jennifer McGuire's blog, then you're in the right place!

I'm honored to be part of this hop and to show some coloring. For my card I chose to watercolor with some of my favorite Distress Ink colors. The stamp I've used is the Kelly Purkey Background Star which I white embossed on a panel of Tim Holtz watercolor cardstock.

I followed the pattern of the stamp to add my color. The white embossing allows each color to pool giving different strengths of color. I love the imperfect look!

I made a little recipe card for you that you can download and print out.
You can find the printable PDF file HERE

At the end of the hop you will find an awesome GIVEAWAY from Hero Arts. 2 shopping sprees of $25.00 each! yay. Winners will be randomly picked from the blog comments of the blog hop, so be sure to comment on each stop!

Your next blogger is my talented friend

Thanks for stopping by!!

I love your pretty colors on this card! And I love how you embrace the imperfection of watercolor. I have chosen to spend my 30 days of the coloring challenge working on my watercoloring and I think the most frustrating thing is feeling like I can't control the lines, the shades, and the bleeding of watercoloring! But I guess that is a little bit the point to watercolor. Thank you for being such an inspiration!
