Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog. Today we are having a little blog hop to celebrate and give you inspiration for the Simon Says Stamp "From All of Us" release.
I've created a couple cards, the first one using the Thanks Scallop border die. I wanted to make an everyday thank you card so I added small flowers and used light tones of papers. You could use this die to create your holiday thank you cards by adding a small tree in place of the flowers.
I die cut a panel of white card stock, added a little piece of pool colored pattern paper just under the "thanks" and used fog card stock as my base to create a top folding card. The flowers are die cut from an older Sizzix die set that I have from Neenah card stock. I colored them with Coral Reef ink using my ink blending tool and topped them off with wood dots.
My next card uses one of the Holiday Watercolor Cards. I painted the card with my Distress inks Peacock Feathers, Peeled Paint, Hickory Smoke, Spiced Marmalade and a touch of Ripe Persimmon.
I did something a little different with the card. Once the panel was dry, I cut out around the snowman and tree then mounted it (with foam tape) to a top folding fog card. I even included the snowballs.
To finish it off, I colored in the small dots and tassels of the scarf and cap with a silver signo pen, then added Rocky candy glitter to the snowballs an d puffy ball of the cap by using a bit of Multi Matte Medium as the glue.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy the inspiration along your way! Also, be sure to leave comments on all the hop blogs because Simon Says Stamp will be drawing a winner on each stop for a prize package valued at approximately $50!!
