Weekend update!!

First... my weekend at Stampaway USA! A quick little backstory... It's been two years since I've been there, last year you might recall that Scooter had appendicitis...that very weekend. But what's amazing is that I opted out of teaching in January for that to happen in August. Women's intuition??

Soooo... I built a class to teach, and boy did we have some fun! I was apprehensive... feeling that my teaching skills were rusty, but I did it. We made 6 holiday cards in 2 hours. My kind a gracious students did it!!! They had some homework to do... but they left with all the pieces and parts plus instructions to complete them.  I'm pumped!!!

Immediately afterwards, Simon Says Stamp participated on the sales floor of the convention hall. New kids on the block!!! We loved meeting the wonderful people that use our products! Oh it's so rewarding!!!

We sold out of one of my designs, One With Nature...it's a good one for sure and is still available in the online store. I can't tell you how exciting it is to watch others appreciate your creations. YES!

Hope you're enjoying what's left of your weekend... I'll have a special giveaway and announcement tomorrow... stay tuned!

Sounds like a wonderful time for you students. I have to say that I purchased your One with Nature set earlier this summer and probably used it more than any other set! It's such a fun and versatile design. I"m so happy others are having a great time with it as well.

So happy for you, Shari! But I'm definitely NOT surprised. You're not only an amazing artist but an awesome teacher - and I should know! ♥

So glad you got to participate this time and all went well. Its funny when you teach how it just takes a little break to make us doubt ourselves. No need for doubt, your style is wonderful as is your skill.

Shari, I'm glad to see you teaching classes again. The classes I took from you when you visited Buffalo were the best I ever took. I'm glad that you are teaching a course on layers, too. Collage is your thing and the composition of your cards are amazing. I wish I had your eye for it. But my eye is slowly developing with your help.
