Another BasicGrey Tree

But this time in CIRCLES!
I just can't get enough of this collection.  I've got so many ideas running through my head.  If only I had more time!

I love the texture of the snowflake embossing folder!

This is fairly basic to make, get out your circle punches and use up your scraps of papers!  Just punch various size circles and start stacking them to create a tree.  Fun isn't it?

Don't forget, Stamptember is still going on over at Simon Says Stamp!

Thanks and enjoy!

Basic Grey Aspen Frost goodness!

Okay.... I've been at it again. I'm in LOVE with the Aspen Frost collection from BasicGrey and can't stop making cards.  I thought a little more stamping was in order so I popped out this one.

Love the pine sprig stamp in Soft Olive ink!

I kept things really Clean and simple here, I let the stamps and paper play together. This is the type of card that can be done in batches... but still have an Elegant style.

I hope you enjoy!

BasicGrey Aspen Frost Blog Hop and Giveaway!

Welcome to the BasicGrey Aspen Frost Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from the blog of
Charming and familiar, wild and sweet, a juxtaposition of Christmas past and present, Aspen Frost by BasicGrey holds all the joy and tradition of a homespun holiday. In neutral birch, iced cranberry, red hot cinnamon, dazzling white, glacier blue and green apple, Aspen Frost is the comfort and blessing of yummy pies, sparkling drinks and a warm flame burning in the hearth.

I added Glossy Accents to the Peppermint candy on top of the tree.

I have always adored the BasicGrey line of holiday papers with Dasher being one of my all time favorites.  BUT...When my eyes landed on Aspen Frost... it was LOVE all over again.  It has the bestest colors and patterns!!! So with that being said... I couldn't decide which was my favorite paper to use for a card... so I grabbed a bunch and made a tree.  :o)

I want to bring your attention to the snowflake... I did something I've never tried before, not really sure why I thought of it but glad I did. I wanted to add glitter to it... Since it's a sticker It was a no-brainer to turn it over and apply the glitter to the sticky side.  Viola!  I hope you enjoy my creation!

It's STAMPTEMBER!!!!

Hi everyone!  I'm here to share my Stamptember card with you.  I've got to tell you... what makes today so super special is that it's my son Brooks' 25th birthday!!!  I can't believe how quickly time has gone by.

Soooo... since it's a milestone birthday, I wanted to add some personalization to it. Nothing works better for this than a good letter set... and boy is the Studio Calico "SAM" set a GREAT one!!!  I like all the different fonts mixed together from the SSS On the Edge set with Handwritten Sentiments!

As promised, I have a coupon code for you (Heidi is the best at taking care of us isn't she???).  So here you go...Use INK20SC for 20% off ALL Hero Arts inks from 9/12/12 - 9/15/12.  Whoa!!!

Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps. It didn’t take long until we realized we couldn’t stop there. During the past 10 years we celebrate rubber stamping in its full glory by giving access to people around the world to a one stop shop. Rubber stamps still remain the heart of our business and we are celebrating by hosting a STAMPtember™ event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate the greatness of rubber stamping. Part of the enticement of rubber stamping is that stamps can be used in creating or complimenting ANYTHING! From stamping dates on bank documents and postage parcels in the early 18th century, rubber stamping has dramatically expanded to include card making, scrapbooking, mixed media and many forms of altering and expressing art.

I love their story!!!  Now head on over to the Simon Says Stamp blog to see the full card and video that I put together for the event.

Below I've listed all the supplies I used!

Enjoy your day!!!
