Holiday Cards and a Winner!

Hi everyone.... you getting ready for Thanksgiving this week (in the US)??? I only have to think about a dish to take... decided to make bruschetta.... yumm!

I've had a few cards out and about in blog land, thought I'd share them here in case you've missed them.

First, I was asked to be a guest over at Little Yellow Bicycle. They have a scrumptious line of holiday papers that I played with.

and here's a peek up close

They have so many great elements too!

Next up, I'm on the Hero Blog today with an elegant yet really simple card.  I drew my inspiration from a memory of having an aluminum tree when I was young.  FUN! Yeah.. dating myself!

And up close...

I seem to forget how much I LOVE silver embossing.

And now it's time to announce the winner of the $25 Kerri Bradford shopping spree.

A HUGE congratulations goes out to.....

Thank you for the chance to win some goodies, but more importantly, I'm thrilled that the cream seems to be working!! Praying for you...!

Kathy, I've sent you an email.

Thanks everyone.... I'll see you in a couple days for something very special! *wink*

Shari...these cards are gorgeous...and I had an aluminum tree when I was a kid, too. I love your take on it!

Lovely cards I particularly like what you have done in the first card. The colour combination and details in all the layers is fab : )

Thank you for the wonderful inspiration! Your silver tree card is so beautiful. My mom mentioned that she had a 'silver' tree while growing up in Germany - one of her happier memories (as she grew up during the war.) It reminded me of your card. I don't have the same stamps as you used, but your card has inspired me to make a similar one for my mom. I think she will really like it. :)
