It's STAMPTEMBER!!!!

Hi everyone!  I'm here to share my Stamptember card with you.  I've got to tell you... what makes today so super special is that it's my son Brooks' 25th birthday!!!  I can't believe how quickly time has gone by.

Soooo... since it's a milestone birthday, I wanted to add some personalization to it. Nothing works better for this than a good letter set... and boy is the Studio Calico "SAM" set a GREAT one!!!  I like all the different fonts mixed together from the SSS On the Edge set with Handwritten Sentiments!

As promised, I have a coupon code for you (Heidi is the best at taking care of us isn't she???).  So here you go...Use INK20SC for 20% off ALL Hero Arts inks from 9/12/12 - 9/15/12.  Whoa!!!

Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps. It didn’t take long until we realized we couldn’t stop there. During the past 10 years we celebrate rubber stamping in its full glory by giving access to people around the world to a one stop shop. Rubber stamps still remain the heart of our business and we are celebrating by hosting a STAMPtember™ event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate the greatness of rubber stamping. Part of the enticement of rubber stamping is that stamps can be used in creating or complimenting ANYTHING! From stamping dates on bank documents and postage parcels in the early 18th century, rubber stamping has dramatically expanded to include card making, scrapbooking, mixed media and many forms of altering and expressing art.

I love their story!!!  Now head on over to the Simon Says Stamp blog to see the full card and video that I put together for the event.

Below I've listed all the supplies I used!

Enjoy your day!!!

I watched the video on SSS earlier today and as usual, you just loaded it with great tips and ideas! Thanks so much for sharing your expertise with us! I think that these companies you represent are very fortunate to have you creating for them! The card was fabulous! I know you are proud of your son, but I'm sure he's very proud of you, too!!!!

Love this card! I just watched the video on SSS. Perfect timing in so many ways: just bought one of those Fiskars stamp positioners and I'm looking for a gray ink pad. Plus, today is my birthday. ;)

Was wondering which gray ink corresponds to each word. Could you please tell us which words were used with Soft Granite vs. Wet Cement? Thanks so much!
