Welcome
to the BasicGrey Aspen Frost Blog Hop! You should
have arrived here from the blog of
Charming
and familiar, wild and sweet, a juxtaposition of Christmas past and
present, Aspen
Frost by
BasicGrey holds all the joy and tradition of a homespun holiday. In neutral
birch, iced cranberry, red hot cinnamon, dazzling white, glacier blue and green
apple, Aspen Frost is the comfort and blessing of yummy pies, sparkling drinks
and a warm flame burning in the hearth. I added Glossy Accents to the Peppermint candy on top of the tree.
I have always adored the BasicGrey line of holiday papers with Dasher being one of my all time favorites. BUT...When my eyes landed on Aspen Frost... it was LOVE all over again. It has the bestest colors and patterns!!! So with that being said... I couldn't decide which was my favorite paper to use for a card... so I grabbed a bunch and made a tree. :o)
I want to bring your attention to the snowflake... I did something I've never tried before, not really sure why I thought of it but glad I did. I wanted to add glitter to it... Since it's a sticker It was a no-brainer to turn it over and apply the glitter to the sticky side. Viola! I hope you enjoy my creation!
