Something fun and a giveaway!

Hi everyone!

I've got something fun to share with you today.  A year ago, my friend Kerri Bradford (a fabulous designer) ventured into new waters to start her own collection of digital kits and cutting files.  These are some of the best images that I've had the opportunity to work play with.  To celebrate her achievement and success, Kerri has planned an entire week of fun by highlighting UBER talented artists each day AND is holding a kit sale on her blog HERE.  You won't want to miss it.

Here's is quick run down of how the week will play out.... starting with the sale.

The featured artists will be highlighted on the following days...

Wednesday: Laura Vegas
Thursday: Robyn Werlich
Friday: Shari Carroll (that's me)

And... If that wasn't enough, Kerri has been generous enough to allow each of us to giveaway a $50.00 shopping spree!  How cool is that???

Soooo... Leave a comment on this post anytime (even each day) this week.  I will accept comments through Friday at 12 (midnight) CST, and will announce the winner on Saturday morning at 10am CST.  Not sure what to say?  Since I'm the Digital Design Manager for Hero Arts, I'd love know what digital cutting machine you use, or if there are any digital kits or cutting files you'd like me to consider creating. Simple as that!  Good luck!!!

Oh and as a side-note.... I have put 20 new digital cutting kits in the Hero Arts online store that will be available sometime later today.  :o)

Enjoy!

I own a few of her diecuts and just love them.
Cutting my images is not my cup of tea. So I rely on my Silhouette. Every diecut HA makes for a stamp(set) is a "hallelujah" for me. LOL!
Thanks for the chance of winning this great price.

Kerri's designs are so great! Glad to see her featured on your blog! I use a Gazelle cutting machine and I love it's strength and speed. I'd love to see some new cabin themed digital shapes.

I have a Klick and Kut, and mainly use silhouette files on it. I have never tried any of Kerri's designs, but have been tempted by several of them.

I've never used a digital image before. I've tried, but my paper turned grey when it went through the laser printer (even though the paper was supposed to be compatible with a laser printer). But I'm willing to try again - her kits look great (love the This and That: Spring!)

Silhouette. It sat unused for a long time because the software seemed cumbersome. With the new software it's like a whole new machine. I love that Hero is making more and more digital cut files to go with their stamps.

I don't own a digital die cutting machine. . . . . .yet. I have used digital images a couple of times before but I guess I just love the feel of the actual stamp in my hand. Of course if I win this giveaway, that could change things! Thanks for the chance, Shari! :)

WOW! I am so excited to see what this week brings. I have a silhouette, that I don't use nearly enough. Not that I don't want to, I just find life getting in the way of craft time. :(
Soooo, if you could just go ahead and create a portal we could step through where time stands still.... that would be great! LOL! I seriously love your creations thus far, and as a wise person once told me....Don't try and improve on perfection. :))))

How about some shapes that would match the journal area stamps?? Fancy edges that could match or stand alone on their own! would be cool if they had an offset as well. :)

Thought of another idea for digi cuts I'd like to see....how about borders that match border stamps??! That would be cool...and versatile. The border dies could also be used with BG stamps like that stripe...it would be cool!

Cool giveaway. Too bad your designs won't work for a Cricut.

Kelly said...

I would love to win! I have a circuit expression which I only use the cartridges but I also do a lot of digital work. Thanks for the opportunity.

Paulette S said...

Love your projects and videos Shari. Gosh, I don't have a digital cutter, because I'm very hands on I guess and thrifty. I use coupons and sales to fuel my cutting desires. And they were more affordable for a mega crafter LOL but I do have 3 die cutting machines and I'm a die-0-holic! But can now see the versatility of cutting fonts and resizing shapes with a digital cutter. What is a girl to do, craft money doesn't grow on trees unless you raise birds! Luckily I do. Haha =} but with so many things to choose from...it's tough. :0
