re-discovering shadow inks...

 ...and DOTS!

Sometimes a stamp set comes along ...that just rings true to me. Many Dots is one of those sets. It can be used for ANY occasion, in ANY color, for ANY one. It is one of those timeless collections, a must have in the ol' stamp toolbox.

I made a couple really quick cards using various shadow inks plus Latte Chalk ink, Soft Brown and Soft Sand as my neutrals.  No special techniques going on here, just pure stamping.

Soft Leaf, Soft Sand, Soft Brown and Latte Chalk ink

Soft Pink, Soft Sand, Soft Brown and Latte Chalk ink

Soft Pool, Soft Sand, Soft Brown and Latte Chalk ink

Soft Apricot, Soft Sand, Soft Brown and Latte Chalk ink

These are just a few color combo's to use.  I can see a wedding set with white on white and a touch of silver too.  Oh...and summer colors or even red white and blue for the 4th of July.

Since we're all busy in the summer... for a quick grab a card idea, determine a card design, then stamp a bunch and add a greeting for the occasion at the time a card is needed.  FUN!!!

Enjoy!

Here's the supplies I used....

Love these! I like simple cards-to me they are much more elegant than cards with too much going on. Your cards are simply done, not overdone and as a result, gorgeous! I am inspired! Nicely done!
