Blogging...finally...blogging

Helllloooooo!  Jeeeez... that was quite the little break I took.  Not for any reason... I just got caught up in the everyday events of LIFE. Beware... this is a long post...BUT it's full of pictures.

I've been on the Hero Blog this week... seems like it's been a long time.  Feels good and I'm sharing Spring Colors because I need some Spring weather just about now. I'm tired of winter. :o)

Here's a couple of the cards I've done for the week...but first the color combos I'm playing with.

Oh and I did a technique article too...on creating backgrounds...love this technique! Here are the cards...

And a background of Delicate Leaves

And here's a video on how I did the technique.

Also, I'm gearing up and planning classes with my Jemmifer for a small trade show at the end of the month in Framingham MA... Love this show, love being with my buddy.  Here's a peek of one of the projects we're doing.... shhhh it's a secret!

Did I shock you with all the pink???  I know...it's crazy!!!

I think that's about it... I guess I've been busier than what I thought.  I hope everyone is enjoying the signs of SPRING and looking forward to the days of green grass, open windows and outdoor bar-b-ques!!

Enjoy!!!

Well this post might have been a week or two in coming, but it was soooo chock-a-block full of eye candy, I'm going to need a couple of days to recover, lol!! Gorgeous cards especially the super-cute one using Dancing With Flowers, but my favourite is the soft wash card with the Distress Inks - so simple and elegant and lovely. xx

I am loving your week on the blog, Shari! Beautiful cards, though I think the one with the 'fudgy' cuppie ;) has stolen my heart - the window, the fab border, the soft yellow - love it all! And your technique video was fabulous - your first layered bg card is perfection!
Not sure how the quitting is going, but I'm still pulling for you! :)

I just wanted to let your know that I made a couple of cards for a friend of mine after watching your HA video on multi-stamped backgrounds. These cards were for her to send to some special people for their help after her son had an accident.

I was very pleased on how they turned out and everyone just loved them! Thanks so much for coming up with all of these great cards and clear videos to boot.
