Hi everyone, I'm sorry if I've been going on about the cold climate we're experiencing here in Illinois....it's a very UN-usually cold winter this year.

So today it was -16, and we decided to do the "throw the hot water outside trick". I video taped it for you to see. Oh and by the way, I mention my dog but she never ended up making an appearance on camera, she stayed by my feet.

Enjoy!

Hi Everyone, anyone else got snow? We got another 6" from last night to this morning...what a crazy cold winter. It's weird because last evening (around 10pm) it was -13, and then by midnight it had warmed up to -6......I don't like it one bit!!

I've been doing my thing over on the Hero Blog this week with Pocket cards. Thought I'd show you a quick sampling of today's cards. Oh, and I did a video too. I'm so in love with the flowers by Prima, love that Hero is carrying them. YUM!!!

Then the other day I did a quick Valentines Pocket card with my favorite colors :o)

Some of you asked if I would be at CHA in Anaheim next week, YEP, I arrive on the Friday the 23rd (weather permitting). I'll be there until the 29th. Stop by the booth (2575) or take a class with us. I'd love to meet and chat.

My schedule is as follows:

Most of the time I'll be in the Hero booth taking orders and greeting customers. I'll most likely slip out now and again to scout trends and such.

Jennifer McGuire and I will be teaching our class on the Saturday the 24th in the morning from 8:00-10:00 am. (ouch that's early) :o)

My Make and Take session is Sunday the 25th
1:00pm to 4:00pm. We'll be doing a fun technique with Ranger products!

I've got to get back to work, got tons to do!
:o)
Enjoy!
We had a light snow fall last night and early this morning....it was a good photo opportunity...so I bundled up...and out I went.

I try to explain to my California friends about the dreary Grey on Grey scenery we experience during the winters and I think this shot shows it well. Believe it or not, I tried to increase the saturation of color in photoshop...nope....still dreary!

But before you can go out and take photos, there's a little process you have to go through. First...you have to carefully open the car door and extract your snow brush/ice scraper from behind the drivers seat. Not always an easy task....as snow likes to fall onto the seat once the seal of the door has been broken...it kinda just gets sucked in.

Now that you've cleaned the car windows sufficiently for visibility and safety.....your shoes have become covered with the white fluff.

So the trick is not to get the snow in the car....not good once it melts. I prefer the sit on the seat and bang the shoes together method....then I swing my feet in and away I can go.

Sounds fun doesn't it? All I can say is that there is this cute little fishing boat resting comfortably in my garage which is preventing me from parking there!!!

What a good mom/wife I am!

Enjoy!
:o)

I'm so proud of this catalog but most of all, I'm proud to be a part of the Hero team. You can view it digitally here.

Curious about what cards are mine? Here's a few examples.

I had a great time with these tickets, could have done a ton of them.

These are the perfect wedding stamps, aren't they great??? Total yummyness!

Oh and this one was a blast, just added circles of pattern paper around my big circle. Fun!

Enjoy the day everyone!
