Our garden has flourished

We just had a great little storm pass through which gave us a nice rainfall. It cleared up enough for me to grab some shots of our magnificent ORGANIC garden! My son Brooks tilled and planted it this year, he has tended, weeded, fertilized with our household compost and watered it only from our rain barrel.

We have Tomatoes, Jalapeno peppers, Green beans, Lima beans, Broccoli, Carrots and Corn. YUM!!!

I just ate my first ear of corn, it was sooooooo tastey! Thought I'd share!

Then there was this little droplet hanging off a Lima bean flower...

I went out front to capture the sunflowers that are growing under the bird feeders, Love it!!!

And finally my lavenders which are in the front garden along the walkway up to the house. I cut and dry these every year. This has to be my favorite of all flowers, the smell and color are just fantastic!

I'll be back soon with more!
