Here's a fun challenge!

I used my favorite stamp of all time, and a sketch from Card Positioning Systems. Of course I also used my favorite technique of mixing the inks on a craft sheet, dabbing the stamp into the ink, misting with water and stamping. I hand cut the circle so I could go around the stamped flourish.

For more details and other examples, check out this post on the Hero Blog.

Enjoy!

It's a great technique, and it works great with your 'fave stamp' which i love too, it's timeless. Look forward to being a follower of your lovely blog.

Love this! I made a card with that technique at the HA booth at CHA and couldn't remember exactly how we did it - thanks so much for sharing, you must have designed the CHA project?

Shari, I was feeling a little blue, as a friend is moving to New Zealand with my God-daughter and I needed to make a card to wish them a safe journey. I decided to have a browse on your amazing blog for inspiration and your card gave me all the inspiration I needed! Thank you for your help and incredible art work.
