here's a peek at what I've been up to...

It's the beginning of the month, and I've got tons to share with you. I have a new article on an old technique.....spotlighting. Then I've got a few cards here , here and here. I also did a scrapbook page of an adorable baby (I had to stitch it together in photoshop...not bad for my first try).

I've got more coming up, but they won't be published till next Monday. We've had so much new stuff on the Hero website that we've had to split it in two publish dates.

The flower card above is using one of my favorite techniques besides spotlighting. I used markers on the stamp, spritzed with water and stamped onto white paper. I love how the colors flow together and blend. Once you try this, you'll love it.

I'll be the lead blogger in a few weeks and am already making my plans. I start again on may 19th...stay tuned!

Please let me know if there are any techniques that you'd like to see videos of, I'm open to ideas and want help anyone out that might be having troubles.

I'll be back soon!

Enjoy
:o)

Great cards Shari! I love how bold they are.
Since I'm still learning to do basics like blending (pencils, etc.)that's what I'd like to see....but then it's probably too basic.

Great cards and I really like how you put together the SB page, very punchy. Not seen the spotlight technique before - I really like it - will give it a try - Looking forward to the 19th (BTW this week's been fantastic on the blog reading about Hero Arts & Aaron)

Hi Shari, the flower and butterfly card is brilliant, can't wait to try out the technique. I would love to see you demonstrate those pop-up type slide cards that you did in Oswaldtwistle. I missed that class. Keep up the great work. Annie in the UK

I love this technique. It is so fun to use on Hero Arts flowers! They look like watercolor pictures that should take hours to do!
Great job!

enjoyed the technique tutorial on spotlighting- the watercolour marker card was my favourite too. I think it's good to revisit 'old' stuff b/c often the oldies are goodies and there are always people new to stamping who wouldn't have seen it before at all. Will have to go check out your other cards now, I'm sure they're all great as always
