Anniversary Book 6

Okay, now I'm starting to add some elements. This is my layout phase with embellishments. I use an adhesive that I can do some rearranging, because you know by now, I change my mind a lot!!!. On the top portion of the book, I added the heart with lightly stamped flowers in pink, plus a chipboard flower that I'll be covering with paper. I also added a clock hand that points to "20" that I've stamped with washed out walnut ink. At the ribbon line, I added a metal "forever" tag with ball and chain (ha ha)...get it? I secured this by sewing with embroidery thread.

On the bottom section of the book, I added a flower stamped scallop tag, silk flower, and a button with a round "love" punched out of paper as well as a button with ribbon. On the right side, I secured a shank type button through a whole, that will act as a closure for the book.

I will start personalizing tomorrow with words using letters stamps and messages.

So far so good.

I can't wait to tell you all the meaning behind some of the stuff that has gone into this piece. I don't just arrange things for visual pleasure, I put a lot of thought into it. I will make a list at the very end, so you will see completely how I think.

This looks like a nice project Shari! I love the quirkiness of the book, the way it opens in to different ways and the decoration is pretty cool too!
